Meet Derek Gytenbeek. He is our friend all the way from Newfoudland Canada. We meet every year the the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas, NV for a pizza competition. This year, Derek decided to travel on his awesome bike down from Canada to New York to the world famous Goodfella's Brick Oven Pizza and the Pizza School of NY.
Derek worked with Megan Odea from Pi Gourmet Eatery and is pictured on the right next to Andrew Scudera of the Pizza School of NY.
After enjoying the Pizza alla Vodka - a creation invented 23 years ago by Goodfella's, Derek hopped back on his bike and headed to NYC for some touring.
An hour later, this young couple arrived... also from out of state.
